Nowadays the information about exercise and the benefits it has on our health has made many people turn to sports. The benefits are many, but the proper nutrition that an athlete will follow in order to be able to cope with his training and developmental needs depending on his age also plays an important role. Many young people follow a variety of diets found on the internet so that they are not as rewarding as they would like in their training, they feel faster and need more days of rest to get their body back. Each organism operates at different rates (burns) so its diet should be individualized and adapted to its daily schedule.
The diet should include the right amount in:
• Carbohydrate (the body’s main fuel)
• Proteins (for the proper reconstruction of tissues that are “destroyed” by exercise)
• Fat (addition of good fats such as nuts)
• Fluids (proper fluid coverage before, during, and after exercise, water, sports drinks, food)
• Vitamins, minerals, trace elements
Just as you do not leave your health in the hands of the internet, so do not leave your diet in various “mats” of the internet. There is a scientist who can guide you safely and without deprivation diets to the result you want. This scientist is called a Dietitian.
